10 Reasons Why We Love The First Two Bioshock Games

1. The Visits To Rapture Are Finite

Sunset The game Bioshock Infinite is to be set aboard the airborne city of Columbia in 1912. Why is this a good thing? Because it means that Irrational Games have chosen to not keep limiting themselves to the same setting, with the risk of invention running out. Would this game be generating the level of excitement, if it was going down to Rapture for the third time? The game franchise is now moving into the theme of people who create islands or separate worlds or societies for themselves. Then it is the flaws within these worldviews that lead to their decline and fall. While the game trailers have shown a lighthouse, it is not the same as the one in the first two games. It is not impossible that the connection with Columbia and Rapture could be made. But if is not, then all long as the game is on the intellectual, design and excitement levels of the first two, nobody will mind. Well that is what I enjoyed about the first two Bioshock games.
