10 Reasons Why We Need A Resident Evil CODE: Veronica Remake

1. More Claire Redfield

Quite simply Claire Redfield doesn’t get enough screen time in the Resident Evil series. While her Resident Evil co-star, Leon S. Kennedy, went on to hit the big time, starring in several mainline RE sequels; Claire instead was stuck working the spin-off circuit such as CODE: Veronica and Revelations 2.

Claire was a real highlight in the RE2make, and it would be great for the character to get another runout. CODE: Veronica would be ideally suited; the game is a direct sequel to RE2, taking place six months after the Raccoon City incident, with Claire both searching for her missing brother, Chris, and investigating Umbrella’s shady operations.

Giving Claire a starring role and having her aided by a strong supporting cast would be awesome, and seeing this latest incarnation of the character going up against the Ashford twins and Albert Wesker would be a real treat. Not to mention the eventual reunion with Chris.
