10 Reasons You're Wrong About Star Wars: Battlefront 2
2. The Actual Gameplay Is Really Enjoyable
Battlefront II won't be making its way onto the competitive circuit anytime soon, but that doesn't make it any less compelling.
While DICE's other FPS series - Battlefield - boasts a greater level of depth and nuance in its multiplayer, the studio's Star Wars offering still manages to persist by capturing the sense of enormity as Battlefield does. You're meant to be a cog in the machine of a massive confrontation, so that by the time you do start influencing the battle, it feels particularly rewarding.
Yes, it may still have the same problem of players sitting at the back of the map with a sniper not playing the objective, but when it gels together, it is so much fun. Plus, with the addition of squad-based gameplay, Battlefront has finally made it easier for players to interact with their cohorts, coordinating little moments of genius to influence the cacophony of large-scale engagements.
If you love Star Wars, and have friends to play with, then you're going to really enjoy Battlefront's latest iteration. It's impossible not to.
