Graphics arent worth anything without proper sound design to support it, and this is especially true for a Star Wars game. This franchise has the most recognizable soundtrack and sound effects of anything, so it is incredibly important to get it right. In this regard, Battlefront excels. Every blast rifle shot, every grenade explosion, and every musical cue is woven together to create a rich Star Wars experience for your ears. The soundtrack is classic Star Wars, and the transitions are seamless; always enhancing the atmosphere and adapting to situations. At every moment you can hear this chaotic battle playing out around you in land and sky, and its all presented on a grand range and scale. Also, this is a game made for surround systems. I played the beta on a 7.1 sound system, and it is an amazingly cinematic experience that transports you into the battle on Hoth. Frankly, a Star Wars game has never sounded this good.
