8. Chris Is A Werewolf - The Quarry
The Quarry is a horror game full of mysteries - hell, you don't even know that the main villains are werewolves until a good few hours into the story. However, even once you find out which creatures are hunting down the game's cast of heroes, an even bigger question raises its head: who are the werewolves, and why are they roaming in the woods to begin with?
Chris Hackett - the man in charge of running the quarry summer camp where the story takes place - seems like someone who'd have answers. Not only is it heavily implied he's aware of the monsters lurking in the area as he stresses to the camp counsellors that they need to get home or - if they stay at the quarry - not to leave their cabin after dark. Also, he's played by horror icon David Arquette, so you know he's a man you can trust.
However, it turns out that he's actually one of the werewolves who has been terrorising the player. He had the answers alright, but it's because he's living with the curse of lycanthropy and trying to minimise as much damage as possible.
