3. Farsight (Perfect Dark)
When Rare put about making a game that had to live up to the tremendous acclaim of their superb FPS Goldeneye, they knew they had to up the stakes, and that they certainly did with Perfect Dark. The Farsight is a weapon so ridiculously awesome that it almost feels like it's giving you an advantage that goes beyond convenient to flat-out unfair, given that it not only allows you to see through walls, but to shoot through them as well! That said, it is an extremely satisfying weapon to use, both against AI and other players - there's very little the enemy can do once you have them in your sights, and seeing the game flagrantly take basic laws of physics and hurl them enthusiastically out the window is a smart way to out-do Goldeneye.
