10 Risky Changes That Would Make Assassin's Creed Great Again
6. Let Us Choose Assassin Or Templar
Assassin’s Creed suffers heavily from replayability issues. Chances are you play it through once, and maybe a few years down the line if you've forgotten all the major story beats, you could start anew.
With that in mind, what if - when starting up a new game - you had a few missions (maybe even Sequences) before you are forced to choose between the Templars or the Assassins? Two different paths through the game, each with their own story choices, creating a more diverse playing experience. It's more work on the development side, but these twin stories could intertwine and ultimately conclude with multitude of varying endings, Witcher 3-style.
It would give you reason to play the game at least twice, and offer up a lot more to do across the board. Y'know, instead of collecting yet more Animus fragments *shudder*.
