10 Risky Changes That Would Make Assassin's Creed Great Again
7. Explore The Precursor Race In Full
One of the more intriguing concepts of the Assassin’s Creed universe is the Precursor race. Beings more powerful and advanced than the humans - to the extent they were recognised as Gods by the Roman Empire. Not to mention that they created the precursor artefacts, the Apple of Eden, the Papal Staff, that sword from Unity and The Shroud. But could you imagine an Assassin Creed game set in the Precursor timeline? It could follow the humans as they rebelled, or you could even play as a precursor assassin. Maybe the Templar/Assassin conflict doesn’t reach that far back, but it’s worth a shot.
The powers and abilities that could be explored with a precursor setting could provide the new edge to the gameplay that Ubisoft have been searching for.
Not to mention you could chill with Adam and Eve. I mean, Napoleon and Da Vinci were cool, but the original humans?
