10 Risque Video Games That Offended Everyone's Parents

6. Blitz: The League

blitz-the-league-ii-20080707025801927_640w Really? A football game... risque? Well... it's no ordinary football game - not at all. The only similarities between this and something like Madden is the ability to actually play a game of football. The parts of the game that caught some heat were, well, things like the use of steroids, gambling, and prostitutes - would it truly be a football game without any of those things? Surprisingly parents didn't realize the similarities between Blitz: The League and real football, and the game received a hit (no pun intended) - but not a large enough one to keep them from creating a sequel.

5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

A military shooter, well-known for "revolutionizing" the first-person-shooter genre, is also well known among parents as the game that allowed you to portray a Russian and gun down civilians in a foreign airport. The game did feature the ability to skip the level/cutscene, but you wouldn't know what you were skipping until you got to that point in the game, so why would anyone skip it? In all honesty, you don't have to shoot anyone while playing as the Russian men, but... parents ignored that - so they sent their kids to their rooms to watch Rambo, to fuel them up with patriotism.
