3. Jerry (Undertale)
Jerry is an Undertale character who only appears in one fight, has a cute design, and doesn't even attack. So, why is there this seething desire among all players to whack it until it's dead? Well, it's because Jerry is an insufferable jerk.
This Undertale NPC appears alongside a Snowdrake, Ice Cap, and Chilldrake, cheering them on during the fight. Although, cheering them on might be a generous way of putting it. Instead, they just complain, moan, and hurl insults at you and the other monsters. Wow, how charming.
Alongside that, Jerry also has plenty of bad habits, like sneezing without covering their nose and licking their hands loudly. Jerry really is that friend everyone seems to hate but puts up with anyway.
Ultimately, you'll be desperate to kill this annoying NPC before you hear another batch of bemoaning or insults, even if you're aiming for a True Pacifist run. There's even an option to ditch Jerry during the fight, which is great, but killing them is so much better.
