2. Spartan Ops Season 2 To Make A Return In Halo 5: Guardians?
Sadly underloved by the majority of Halo 4 players, Spartan Ops season one was a fantastic way to continue providing content for players who enjoyed a more structured game and who weren't quite ready to commit themselves to multiplayer totally. It was also a much better way to implement cooperative play than ODSTs Firefight mode, adding much more world building, showing teams of Spartans in action on active duty. Unfortunately the cost to create each episode, full of voice acting and CGI episodes along with the missions themselves was prohibitively expensive, even with the reused single player maps and adapted multiplayer maps. Once season one was confusedly rounded up with season 1.5, Spartan Ops Season 2 was cancelled. Luckily, a brand new Halo title means a whole gamut of new money to spend on continuing the Spartan Ops legacy and seeing it return to continue the legend of Fireteam Crimson. 343 Industries also hinted when they said, This does not mean the stories of the Infinity and Crimson are over, though. Here's hoping.
