7. Shibito - Siren

The Shibito were the main enemies from Siren: Blood Curse. They were essentially corpses brought back by supernatural forces, though unlike their zombie counterparts, they retained some sense of intelligence. This makes them scarier already, you'll agree. Appearance-wise, these guys were extremely pale with eyes bleeding out, whilst their skin and clothes are splattered with dirt and bloodstains. They would wander around the village going about their daily lives until provoked: then they would mercilessly hunt the player down. Shibito were even more creepier than zombies due to them walking around muttering incoherently to themselves. Another aspect of the Shibito was the fact that they could transform into insect-like creatures such as spiders, maggots and flies, because monsters are allowed to do that kind of thing. This enhanced their abilities and often making them harder to kill. When you knock these guys out they drop their weapon, enabling you to pick it up, though after a certain amount of time, the Shibito will revive just to scare the heck out of you all over again. Again, what made these guys extremely scary was the fact that they were practically a more advanced, super-zombie. They make Resident Evil zombies look like... well, child's play.
