10 Scariest Ever Video Game Characters
4. Blind Woman - Fatal Frame (Project Zero)
Generally, there's nothing worse than a horror game... well, except if said horror game comes out of Japan. Fatal Frame (or Project Zero as it was called in Europe) had the stereotypical haunted house set up with a twist: all the ghosts you encountered throughout the game could only be banished with a magical camera. The premise may sound absurd, but believe me, going into first person mode and having to get up close and personal with these ghosts was petrifying - especially without a weapon. This particular ghost, the Blind Woman, was the worst of the worst when it came to wetting your pants. She wasn't just blind: she lost her eyes due to having them stabbed out with a tool known as a blinding mask. She would wander around the mansion crying out for her eyes or exclaiming how it was so dark. Due to her being completely blind though, she would only react to sound. This presents problems if you want to flee from her quickly. She also has a habit of hiding in the walls, making close combat difficult. And just to be extra annoying and extra terrifying, she enjoys teleporting, too.
