10 Scenes Telltale's Game Of Thrones Game Needs To Let Us Control

7. Battle Of The Blackwater

While The Walking Dead was a great game, it didn't feature many action scenes. The Wolf Among Us' first episode made amends to that including memorable showdowns with the Woodsman and Grendel, offering hope that Game of Thrones big battles could be recreated faithfully. If we are going to see any key battle from the War of the Five Kings, the Battle of the Blackwater should be a high priority. Occuring near the end of Season Two when Stannis Baratheon assaults King's Landing in his bid to claim the Iron Throne, the Battle of the Blackwater is a hugely significant event in Game of Thrones, and witnessing it first-hand could be a huge highlight for Telltale. The wildfire used to destroy Stannis' naval fleet would make for some exciting visuals in the background whilst you played as a knight defending the gates of King's Landing from the ground assault. Or, another possibility is a recreation of an infamous moment in the show, when Ser Mandon Moore attempts to assassinate Tyrion. This would also be interesting to see, particularly if it's from the perspective of Podrick Payne (Tyrion's squire) who kills Moore before he can land the killing blow. Finally, after the battle you could be given the option to stay true to Tyrion (whose heroics in the battle are forgotten) or reap the rewards by siding with Tywin Lannister who arrives late to seal victory for the defending forces. Definitely an event that would be interesting to see played out in Telltale's story.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
