10 Secret Video Game Endings Nobody Saw

1. Payday 2 - One Of The Most Fiendishly Hidden Secret Endings In History

Overkill Software’s hectic 2013 shooter Payday 2 is far from the most narrative-heavy title. The game revolves around a series of high-profile heists the player must pull off, a first-person Grand Theft Auto esque experience with some rather sophisticated stealth mechanics layered on top.

The game’s story, such as it is, leaves a number of loose ends after Dallas and the rest of the gang salute Bain at his graveside. For more closure, the player will have to attain the secret ending, which is notoriously obscure and tough to access.

In order to unlock this ending, which reveals more about the White House heist and Bain’s potential ‘true’ fate, players will first need to unlock the The Three Coffers, The Obsidian Plate and The Medallion trophies. After that, a complex puzzle involving the safehouse medallion, shooting Scarface’s piano in very specific places and deciphering some befuddling riddles needs to be completed.

That’s just the preliminary work, too. During the White House heist, more precise work and code-cracking needs to be completing (by blowing a hole in a wall, which can only be done if the previous conditions were met). Most players are unaware this ending even exists, let alone how to achieve it.
