In one of the few trailers we got for the game, with Alyx rummaging through piles of garbage, we see her put on a hard hat. Very stylish. Yet, it’s not just hard hats that are wearable in Half-Life: Alyx and they do more than obscuring your vision.

On top of hard hats, you’ll also be able to wear traffic cones, buckets and tiger masks. And yes, these have uses, too. For example, if you’re wearing something as you accidentally walk backwards into a Barnacle, they’ll suck up the hat and not you.
