Over the years, and as the prevalence of FPS titles has grown and grown, pretty much any person could pick up a controller and have a rough idea on how to get shooting in seconds. They've been designed in such a way that the entry-level skill to get a kill is for the most part pretty low.

However, that only works if the enemy you're firing at doesn't bloody disappear at any given moment only to reappear behind you to cause chaos and panic. It's a skill that video game enemies love to exploit, skipping through time and space, and making you waste precious ammo before lunging in for the kill.

The Nurgle priests in Warhammer Vermintide absolutely love bantering you off by disappearing once they've been located and then appearing right next to you in order to suck your very soul out of you. In fact, these meat zeppelins are rubbing it in your face with their massive frames implying the bastards have never used their legs to get to the top of a flight of stairs once in their lives.

It's a great tactic, don't get me wrong, but it's so bloody annoying.
