10 Simple Video Games That Are Too Brutal To Master

1. Super Smash Bros.

Perhaps the definition of €˜easy to learn, difficult to master€™, the Super Smash Bros. series is played worldwide by variety of diverse players, of all races and age groups. Some people like to just button-mash, smack their friends around and have a good time; others compete in tournaments, spend their time counting frames to improve their game, mastering the art of wave-dashing and learning every tiny, subtle difference between each character€™s playstyle.

There are some truly obsessive Smash Bros. players out there; just when you think you€™ve mastered the game, you€™ll meet someone new who makes you look like a total rookie. It€™s almost impossible to stay ahead; you can best your friends, and your friend€™s friends, but you€™ll still find yourself absolutely destroyed every now and then by someone you€™ve never met before .

Certain characters are also more vulnerable to others, meaning that in order to truly master the game, you€™re going to need to practice fairly consistently using several different variants. Otherwise, you€™ll find yourself getting decimated by characters you€™re unfamiliar with.

Honestly, that€™ll probably happen anyway, no matter how hard you try and avoid it.
