10 Single-Player Video Games With Insanely Underrated Multiplayer Modes
6. Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron
With the trail of garbage attached to the name of Transformers thanks to the likes of Michael Bay, sometimes it's hard to see past that when it comes to the Transformers tag. Even if the name is somewhat tainted in the cinema world, it has routinely thrived when it comes to gaming.
For those who aren't aware, Fall of Cybertron is a sequel to the beloved War for Cybertron, which was a surprise hit to most. And just like its predecessor, FoC had one hell of a multiplayer on its hands. If you've ever dreamed about taking your favorite Transformer and souping it up in many, many ways, then this is the game for you.
The customization in FoC is easily one of its strongest points. You can tinker with the head, body, arms, shoulders, decals and even voice for every robot you make. Even Insecticons and Dinobots are both included for all those hardcore fans, albeit as DLC.
On top of this, gameplay itself is tight and responsive. Switching to and from vehicle mode feels great and the aiming and switching of weapons is perfect.
All around FoC is a great multiplayer game that will not only have you hooked with the customization but the gameplay as well. It's a shame it didn't get as much love as it deserved, due in part to being a Transformers game and not deemed as being "serious,", but it's this very same franchise link that gives it everything it has and then some.
