7. Aquaman
Ah the vast ocean, another lovely piece of the Earth we rarely get to explore in most games these days, but that could all change with Aquaman. If this game ever got on the development train, it would need to be done properly, it would be a lot of effort and would need a lot of care and attention from a good studio to be more than just "Scuba Simulator 2013". I honestly think that from all the Aquaman fiction, it would be best to take from the very early "Golden Age" comic books that saw our hero fighting off Pirates in the 50's. Oh and by the way, he talks to underwater animals... Because he's awesome. I'm doing it again, but the upcoming Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is going to be the best example of the kind of things that could be done with a character like Aquaman. First of all the vast underwater area to explore could be jaw droppingly huge, full of underwater animals that could fit into the gameplay in different ways, your underwater powers would let your hear "whale song" like transmissions under the water, this could be a way to pick up missions? Lets say one of the missions is hearing captives screaming for help from a pirate ship? You could call on Sharks to distract some guards on said ship, then while they look over the side taking pot shots into the water, you swim your way up and take them down with some acrobatic amphibious ass kicking! Include underwater caverns and caves to explore, realistic animal animations and behaviour, and Aquaman could be a hit.
