It's probably unfair to include this one on here, as it's more of an experiment in artificial intelligence and interactive storytelling than a bona fide video game. For those unfamiliar with Façade, it's similar to things like 'Cleverbot,' in that you can type to an artificial intelligence and it'll respond in a manner resembling human conversation. The difference between Façade and regular chatbots, is that the AI is actually two characters, a married couple, and that you can walk around and interact in a simple environment. Façade actually managed to win a bunch of awards back in 2006, thanks to its attempts to simulate real human interaction. Façade might have been something of a technological achievement, but it's also unintentionally one of the most hilarious video game experiences imaginable. Dialogue is often stilted, and it's all too easy to interrupt your AI companions. If you're anything like us, it's also incredibly difficult to not get kicked out of the apartment for spewing out childish insults.
