3. Hush Little Baby - Bioshock (2007)

The game starts off at the higher end of "Tense Scary" then slowly descends into "Freakishly Weird Scary." This isn't necessarily a bad thing though - variety is the spice of life, after all. The one moment that really got me in the original Bioshock, however, was when you encounter the silhouette of a Splicer singing a warped version of Hush Little Baby over a stroller. Her own take on the classic nursery rhyme contains the charming verse: "When your daddy's in the ground, momma's gonna sell you by the pound." Lovely.
