EA don't do things by half, as not only did they rocket to the top of the Worst Company in America polls in 2012 following the godawful ending of Mass Effect 3 and their role in it, but it happened again in 2013.

Why?

2013 was the year EA published the complete walking disaster that was SimCity's reboot - a game that required a constant server connection to play its single player... only for them to never be available. Dead Space 3 also dropped in that year, releasing rife with microtransactions, a Gears of War-aping "co-op mode" and a final fight against a sentient moon.

As you do.

Amazingly, EA didn't nab the title again in 2017 despite Battlefront 2's notable hoo-ha, but give them time - we've barely seen what Anthem is going to be...
