10 Things Only Star Wars Battlefront 2 Fans Will Understand
1. Holding Out For A Hero
Okay, let's all be honest for a second: we don't play Star Wars games to be battle droids - we're here for the heroes and villains.
Playing as a clone sniper is fun, but you REALLY want Kenobi. Stormtroopers are fine, but we all need a bit of Vader in our lives.
Actually getting to play as these famous characters in Battlefront II, though, can be quite an ordeal sometimes. The first scenario BFII players will know all too well sounds a bit like this: You're battling away in Galactic Assault, killing and dying whilst building up enough battle points to unlock your favourite Jedi or Sith character. You finally score enough kills that you can now afford a hero... and they're all taken.
The next example is even more frustrating.
You're playing badly in a particular match, and as such are accruing battle points at a staggeringly slow pace. FINALLY, you manage to rack up enough points to unlock a hero, and you select your favourite accordingly.
Upon spawning, lightsaber in hand, the match immediately ends.
It's probably fair to say that all but the very best Battlefront II players have felt this anger many times over - even if it isn't exactly the Jedi way.
