One being, alone, the weight of the galaxy on their shoulders (or equivalent alien body part).
There are far too many examples to list them all, but whether it's Cal Kestis in Jedi: Fallen Order, Kyle Katarn in Jedi Outcast, Dash Rendar in Shadows of the Empire, or Mara Jade in Mysteries of the Sith, this Man Vs the Scum of the Universe trope is a heavily utilised crutch in Star Wars gaming.
From a gameplay standpoint, this makes absolute sense; a single gamer in control of a single character.
From a Star Wars point of view, however, it makes no sense at all (a certain point of view, if you will).

Star Wars games tend to eschew this fundamental facet of our beloved franchise in favour of hero focused character action games, however epic they prove to be.
Where would Han be without Chewbacca? How far would Luke have gotten without Leia?
Where would Anakin be without Obi-Wan and Padme?
Okay, maybe that last one was a bad example.
