5. Focus On A Connected Experience
The home screen of the user interface looks very similar to the front screen of a smart phone or tablet. Everything looks very clean cut and clearly defined. Friends, and what they're playing are easily visible, as well as what achievements or trophies you might have. Similar to the front page of the PS3 Store now, sections like 'What's New' or 'Suggested for you' are also included. User pages are clearly inspired by social networking, with the use of real names and photo avatars that also appear above the relevant characters in-game. Sony assure that privacy settings, similar to those on Facebook, are also accessible for those not wanting to share with everybody.
