10 Things WWE 2K17 Needs More Than Goldberg

6. Greater Emphasis On Player Community

Not everybody who picks up a copy of each WWE game plays online, but nobody can deny that the 'Community Creations' suite is an excellent feature. In a sense, this almost negates the arguments fans have against 2K omitting certain wrestlers from the roster. Some of the creations people upload are outstanding in their detail.

And yet, there's still something that seems lacking about the whole community aspect. Bringing back the Create-A-Storyline feature would be one way to remedy this, although that may not have sustainability in the long run. 2K need to find a way to keep people feeling like they're part of something special with their games.

As an offline, single-player idea, Universe Mode doesn't really work. It's dull and uninspiring, lacking that social hook to keep players coming back time and time again. Taking the mode online could be a suggestion, because then gamers could mix and match, booking the same world and very much tailoring it together.

Right now, the Universe feels tired, an idea that didn't really cut it in place of a bonafide story mode.
