In almost every game he has worked on, Totaka has hidden a short 19 note tune somewhere in the game. It's popped up in many games such as Luigi's mansion and Animal crossing and people are still searching for it in other games he's worked on. In Link's Awakening the song can be heard if you wait inside Richard's Villa for 2 and half a minutes, there is also another way to hear it during the name selections at the beginning of the game however this is only available in the Japanese and German versions.
