As niche as the audience is, the Simulator brand of game titles certainly has a long and dedicated following, whether it be the mundane agricultural sweat work of Tractor Simulator, to the wild-life based survival of Bear Simulator.

The three-man studio of ETeeski had the bright idea to create a simulation game based in the world of ants...and so Ant Simulator was born. They exceeded their campaign goals via their own independent crowdfunding site back in 2014.

Sadly, things fell apart in a manner close to a Greek tragedy; the three close friends all turned on each other in a cut-throat manner, with main dev, Eric Tereshinski, exiting the company and accusing his ex-partners of blowing through the funds due to their penchant for partying and strippers.

The remaining partners clapped back by denying allegations and preventing Tereshinski from continuing the game on his own. All that boils down to is backers getting a big old serving of nothing due to the game will never getting completed.
