10 Times Video Games Knew What You Were Thinking (And Rewarded It)

3. Taking Over Vegas - Fallout: New Vegas

If there's one thing Bethesda games have entirely too much of, it's being led around by the nose by the many factions that take up whatever world you've been plopped down into. Fortunately, Fallout: New Vegas agrees with this assessment.

By the time you've caught up to Benny, either killing him or letting him slip away from you, you've more or less met every major faction in the Mojave: the NCR, Caesar's Legion, and Vegas itself represented by Mr. House. But maybe your scrappy mailman is a touch more ambitious than that.

Well, just as you're probably thinking about all the options for who to side with, you find Benny's personal Securitron, Yes Man. He tells you all about a brand new option: taking over Vegas for yourself.

It's a tantalizing prospect, especially for long time Bethesda players who are perhaps sick of constantly being asked to pick a side. Now in comes Yes Man to say "why yes, you CAN in fact take over Vegas for yourself and form your own faction!" Definitely a hard to resist prospect, and something that feels fresh after other games in the series.
