5. Dismissing A Felyne - Monster Hunter
As the cutest creatures in Monster Hunter - and also helpful allies - getting some Felyne buddies is pretty much a no-brainer in every sense. That is, until you need to dismiss one to make some room.
Instead of just showing the cat leaving, the developers thought it best that, when you send them away, you get to see them cry in pain at the split, as you're guilt tripped with the option to keep them or to send them away.
To twist the knife a little further, if you decide you'll keep them because you can't take the guilt, the Felyne will be literally ecstatic, meaning the next time you try and dismiss one of them you know exactly how happy they'd be if you didn't.
A cute cat weeping may not tug at the heart strings of everyone, but it's still made explicitly clear how much you're making this little hard-working being suffer, which is likely going to put you right off removing them.
Well played, Felyne union. Well played indeed.
