10 Times Wrestling Video Games Broke The Fourth Wall

Remember 2K19? It was infinitely better than 2K20's muck, and may end up being the last playable entry in the core series unless 2K get their fingers out in time for 2K22. The game also had one hell of an illusion-busting moment when Buzz from MyCareer was in the ring crowing about creating his own title.

"What do you think this is - WWE 2K19? This is real life - it's not pretend time", The Miz replies.

Of course, players are able to manufacture their own belts in-game, and this is Miz's way of pimping out that feature. By calling Buzz's creativity "pretend time", he's having a subtle dig at the people playing the game and confirming his status as the storyline heel too.

Boo you, Miz. How sh*tting dare you refuse to give Buzz an Intercontinental Title shot and then ridicule him for building that beauty of a belt that took hours and hours and hours and hours of fiddly menu screens to make.
