10 Times YOU Made A Video Game Impossible
8. Custom Mutations - Black Ops 4 Zombies
Black Ops 4 Zombies changed a lot about the co-op mode we’ve come to know and love over the last ten years. While some find Treyarch’s Zombies more difficult within itself, Blops 4 gave you even more options as to how to go about dicking yourself over.
The removal of Juggernog was a start, but actual difficulty levels changed the maximum amount of health your character had, something we’d not seen in the series before. If you want to go all-out, go for realistic, and go down in one hit. But, if you’re feeling even more reckless and/or idiotic, Blops 4 took Blops 2’s minuscule game-tweaking to the next level, allowing players to make the mode as ridiculously difficult, or as easy as they wish.
There's plenty of options for making things as hard as possible, from choosing the specifics on zombie activity like altering their speed, max health, and having them only take damage from headshots, to nailing down the box to one spot or have it move on every spin, through to the utter ridiculousness of blocking off areas of the map entirely, not allowing the power to be turned on (so no perks or traps), and almost breaking the mode by switching on friendly fire.
Or just do a first-room challenge. That always works.
