10 Unbelievable Ways Creators Hid Themselves In Video Games
3. Coffee Stain Studios - Goat Simulator
In perhaps the most meta cameo possible, Coffee Stain Studios, the strange bunch of people that bought the Goat Simulator game into the world as well as a whole load of other ruminant mammal-based add-ons, brought their own studio to life within their flagship sim game, as well as using all their own names on the NPC models. If you go behind an empty greenhouse near the Helvete sign, you'll come across the studio house - full of items to headbutt, lick, and generally wreak goat-y havoc on until your heart's content.
Also in the in-game studio, however, is a host of game developers working on the very Goat Simulator you're currently smashing your way through. Wait, what? Does this mean there's another Goat Simulator Simulator within this game world being created? Is there a Coffee Stain Studios inside this Coffee Stain Studios's computer? Are we stuck in a never-ending loop of goats, and pixels, and spiralling levels of reality until we hit the quantum realm of goat inception? Someone please think of the children!
There's also a lovely Flappy Bird spoof in the form of Flappy Goat, which opens a whole new world of questions. Best left alone, that.
