To some gamers, getting through a game with 100% completion is very important. You might not be winning any awards, but to know that you did and saw everything possible within a game is a great personal achievement. But even the most steadfast gamer has cowered away from some menacing opponents at least once. The superboss: commonly found in role playing games, these are normally considered optional enemies. And they're optional for a reason. They usually have completely maxed out stats and can totally wipe out your team if not adequately leveled. Case in point: the Emerald Weapon from Final Fantasy VII. The Emerald Weapon has one million hit points and an ability that can possibly kill one character in a single hit. With enough diligence, you can beat this thing. But don't pat yourself on the back just yet, because this is Final Fantasy VII, and you still have more superbosses to defeat.
