7. Star Wars: Empire at War

Empire at War came after Galactic Battlegrounds and injected a much needed graphical boost to the Star Wars RTS effort. Focusing this time solely on the Galactic Civil with campaigns from both the Rebel and Imperial perspective leading up to the construction of the Death Star 2.

Where this game stands out is Galactic Conquest. A popular concept which has shown up a few times in Star Wars titles sun as BattleFront and allow for a strategic direction of systems much like chess in space. A mode that is ultimately replayable with no two Conquests ending playing out the same.

So construct a fleet of AT-AT’s march them towards echo base because what else would a Star Wars RTS fan want? As watching these battles play out in the campaign or skirmish mode will lead to endless hours or fantasy battling fun.
