Originally published by THQ this game was announced at the start of last gen. Once the ailing publisher was shut down however, this long anticipated game was presumed cancelled. Luckily for action game fans, Nintendo stepped in and are resurrecting the game for Wii U. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9teDKrpaDKQ Featuring a sense of macho humour reminiscent of 90s shooters like Duke Nukem, Devil€™s third combines the hack and slash action of Ninja Gaiden with elements of third and first person shooters. The game features a bombastic story about a nuke wiping out the future€™s technology, meaning gangs and armies roam the Earth battling with just the weapons they find around them. You can pick up axes, sledgehammers and whatever else you find around you to mercilessly slay those in your way. The game looks to offer a crazy 16 player online mode to boot, boasting a level designer and some kind of capture the flag mode involving thowing watermelons into a blender. If you hadn€™t guessed already €“ this game is a bit odd. While the visuals look a bit rough, the genre hybrid and intriguing multiplayer definitely show a lot of promise.
