10 Upcoming 2019 Video Games You Could Totally Miss

1. Ring Fit Adventure

Ring Fit Adventure is the pseudo sequel to Wii Fit, due to be released on October 18th. It comes with what’s basically a JoyCon garter and a big rubber steering wheel, allowing you to exercise while playing.

Though there is a standard exercise mode and some party games, the main selling point is that Ring Fit Adventure is at heart a turn-based RPG. No, really.

Different yoga poses and muscle stretches allow you to make different attacks, while fleeing battles and exploring the map are done by physical movements. It’s certainly a game of grand ambition, but like the Labo it may prove to be a great idea with an execution that falls short.

It could be the best parts of Wii Fit, Breath Of The Wild and Persona 5 combined... but maybe don’t hold your breath on that one.

We’re yet to see much of the actual gameplay itself, with the trailers so far focusing on the exercise, narrated evidently by two people from the moon who’ve just learned how humans convey excitement.

This being number one also means no place on the list for the KFC Colonel Sanders dating sim, which is an absolutely real thing dropping soon.
