10 Upcoming Horror Video Games You Need To Know About

1. Visage

Visage takes inspiration from P.T. and Blumhouse-style horror movies, tasking players with uncovering the secrets of a huge house with a harrowing past. As you delve further into the residence, you'll relive scenes and memories from the lives of the people who died there. It seems to have a lot in common with cult horror hit Allison Road, which seems to have been cancelled at this point.

The gameplay footage seen so far looks very promising, with the developers preferring to build atmospheric tension through use of light and sound rather than relying on cheap jump-scares.

Filled with labyrinthine corridors and grisly rooms, the setting for Visage looks terrifically terrifying and the story sounds interesting too.

This game was successfully funded on Kickstarter and hasn't managed to meet its initial release date, but is scheduled to hit PS4, Xbox One and Windows sometime this year. The developers have promised an 8-10 hour story with multiple endings to encourage repeated playthroughs, and this could be one of 2018's scariest gaming experiences.
