10 Upcoming Video Games That Risk Flying Under The Radar

6. Soul Calibur VI

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
Bandai Namco

Soul Calibur has certainly been missed in this generation, for has interest for it waned over time? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of buzz surrounding the latest entry, even if it does feature Geralt.

Nowdays it seems like a fighting game needs to include half a dozen guest characters in order to generate a lot of hype. For a game that focuses so much on its mechanics like Soul Calibur VI does rather than cameo fighters, it sadly can't hope to generate as much excitement as something like Smash Ultimate.

There are so many fighting games out nowadays that Soul Calibur just doesn't make as much of an impact as it once did.

Releasing in October of this year is also a move guaranteed to lower your sales, as the almighty Red Dead Redemption 2 has essentially scared off all the competition. Fair play to Soul Calibur VI for not budging, but it's certainly not going to do the game any favours.
