10 Upcoming Xbox One Indie Games That'll Make PS4 Owners Jealous
4. Blues And Bullets - Episode 2
Release date: Q4 2016 Episodic games with a heavy focus on story over gameplay are starting to wear a bit thin. The genre popularised by games by The Walking Dead has been largely bled dry by that game's own developer, Telltale Games, who have continued churning out identically-designed games despite the fact that we're now wise to the fact that the seemingly significant choices we make in these games don't really matter. But Blues and Bullets gives this formula a new angle, by focusing on investigation and detective work. The oddball story puts you in control of Eliot Ness, the agent who famously brought down and imprisoned Al Capone, but now runs his own diner for reasons that become clear later. Once Capone comes out of prison, he asks Ness to find his missing granddaughter - a task you must go about by investigating crime scenes and piecing together clues to find suspects. Set in the 1930s, with a gorgeous black-and-white, chiaroscuro visual style, Blues and Bullets is a refreshing take on the storytelling genre. With the first episode out already, it'll be fascinating to see how it develops from here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1dexolnLNo
