10 Useless Video Game Abilities You WASTED Skill Points On

8. Gadgets While Gliding - Batman: Arkham Knight

The Batman: Arkham games are full of neat skills to make players truly feel like they're the Dark Knight, but there's one particular branch of skills that isn't worth the point spend in the slightest.

In order to use Batman's various gadgets while simultaneously gliding around Gotham, players need to unlock the ability to do so - individually for each gadget no less.

Unless you've really got your heart set on tackling all of Arkham Knight's AR challenges - which requires you to have first unlocked this ability - trying to glide and deploy gadgets at the same time is far more trouble than it's worth.

As promising as the ability might sound on paper, using gadgets while gliding is ultimately fiddly and frustrating, ensuring it provides little tactical advantage to the player and, worse still, scant entertainment value. Don't bother.
