Any players with a severe fear of the ocean should probably steer clear of Subnautica. But for those brave enough to dive in to the beautiful depths of Planet 4546B's sea, there are plenty of other horrors awaiting you.

The alien planet is covered mostly by water and after a crash lands your character in the middle of it, you must collect resources and explore in order to escape. Exploration, though daunting at first, is essential.

Until you go that one exploratory step too far and you hear something new in the distance. You don't see anything so you keep exploring. The sound gets louder and seems to be coming from behind you. Suddenly, a massive face with four mandibles appears in front of your face sending you into a screaming fit echoing the roars you were hearing.
