10 Video Game 100% Completions That Were Profoundly Insulting

5. Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

Of all the teaser endings in video games, this one may be the most infamous.

Like the stars and shine sprites of our previous two entries, titular characters Jak & Daxter are required to collect Power Cells throughout their adventure. Once you've collected all 100 of them (many are which are in very inconvenient locations), you can place them all in a large Precursor door to reveal...uhh?

Well, it's not immediately obvious.

When the door opens, a large, white light shines brightly on the characters' faces and they all revel in the splendor of...whatever it is that they're looking at. And then that's all you get. The game's characters get to enjoy the fruits of your labor, but you don't; you just get to guess what they've seen and then wait until Jak 2 comes out, when they finally reveal what was behind the door after all.

But seriously, I'm glad that the characters got to enjoy the Rift Rider and the Rift Gate before I did. It's not like I'm the whole reason they found the Power Cells in the first place or anything...
