All of the boss encounters in Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood were relatively simple as they took the form of cinematic fast draw duels. Fortunately, the mechanics of the duels were quite fun, as you had to keep your hand close to your gun and ready to draw, while keeping an eye on your opponent and waiting for the right moment to fire.

Colonel Barnsby starts off as your commanding officer during the Civil War sequences early in the game, but when the war ends, Barnsby keeps fighting and hunts down the game's protagonists, the McCall brothers, who disobeyed his orders and deserted their unit during an important battle.

Barnsby captures and imprisons the brothers at one point, nearly executing them both, but they manage to escape and eventually track him down for one final showdown. The last duel requires a steady hand and quick reflexes, but you technically only need to shoot a single bullet at Barnsby to finish him off for good.
