10 Video Game Bosses That Can Be Killed In A Single Hit

3. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)

The End MGS3
Square Enix

One of gaming's most iconic villains goes out with a whimper at the very end of Final Fantasy VII. After battling Sephiroth in various forms, we see Cloud take on the big bad boss one-on-one. This final fight is actually impossible to lose. All you need to do is wait for Cloud's limit break bar to fill up.

From that point, you can unleash Cloud's ultimate move, Omnislash, and watch him carve Sephiroth into lots of little angsty pieces. Even if you choose to wait around and not attack, the silver-haired villain will eventually hit you and then Cloud will automatically counter and kill him in a single hit.

It's impossible to lose this fight as Sephiroth is only capable of dealing damage equivalent to a percentage of your health bar, meaning that he can't actually kill you even if you refuse to attack. After fighting through a host of difficult end-game bosses, this final fight gave players a bit of a breather and allowed Cloud to have his ultimate revenge moment.
