10 Video Game Bosses You Didn't Realise Can Be Beaten In SECONDS
9. Kraid - Metroid Dread
After entering a lava-filled lair in Metroid Dread, players were excited (and terrified) to come face-to-face with the Godzilla-inspired beastie, Kraid. Although you've faced this bulbous kaiju on many occasions throughout the franchise, this is the hardest incarnation by far.
Throughout this multi-phase battle, Kraid will toss out globules, fireballs, spikes, acid, boomerang claws, and an endless supply of nasty creatures. Because of his colossal size and teeny weakspot, this battle requires a lot of precision. And since this towering space pirate has a ton o health, you're going to be well-acquainted with the Game Over screen.
If you're getting tired of Kraid killing you, there's an easy way to dispose of him. Just before you enter his domain, you can backtrack to obtain the Bomb earlier than you thought. After that, head into Kraid's room and fight him as normal.
When he stands up to reveal his gut, use the Morph Ball to roll to the left and trigger a Bomb. The blast will launch Samus into Kraid's belly button, where our heroine will automatically detonate Bombs until he dies, allowing you to completely bypass the rest of the fight.
