7. Kalle Demos - Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Kalle Demos is the boss guarding the Forbidden Woods area in Wind Waker. The usual way of defeating it is to cut down its tentacles and wait for it to open up its core, at which point you try to deal as much damage to it as possible before the creature closes it up again and forces you to repeat the cycle.
The fight is pretty annoying and time-consuming, but this said, there does exist a method of killing Kalle Demos instantly. Curiously enough, the method was only discovered years after the game had been released.
It turns out that if you manage to acquire some Forest Water from the Koroks' haven, you can use it on Kalle Demos' core to kill it instantly. The process is as easy as waiting for the creature to expose its weak point and then pouring the contents of your bottle onto it.
There is a slight catch, as the effects of the forest water only last 30 minutes after you extract it, but if you're quick enough to reach Kalle Demos in that time, the fight will become a quick and breezy walk in the park.
