10 Video Game Bosses You Never Got To Kill

4. Nadine Ross - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Nadine Ross is the extremely badass secondary antagonist of Uncharted 4, and who memorably gets the better of Nathan Drake during their first fistfight early in the game.

She ends up throwing Nate through a window to his near-death, seeming to signify that players will get to settle the score with her later on and likely take her out for keeps.

Indeed, Nate gets his rematch against Nadine near the very end of the game, and to stack the odds even further in his favour, he teams up with his brother Sam to take her on.

But Nadine's such an intensely well-trained soldier that she holds her own incredibly well against the pair, even almost killing Nate yet again after kicking him out of another window. Just as the tide turns in the boys' favour, however, the fight is interrupted by Nadine's boss Rafe, ensuring she lives to fight another day.

Considering that Nadine attempts to leave Nate, Sam, and even Rafe for dead at the very end of the game, some fans were understandably miffed that she got away scot-free.

It was clearly well worth it, though, when she resurfaced as Chloe Frazer's sidekick in the spin-off game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Basically, Nadine's just too freaking cool of a character to die, especially given that she turns her back on her mercenary past in The Lost Legacy and is basically reinvented as an anti-hero.
