First Appearance: Street Fighter (1987)

As we age, we sadly begin to lose fond memories of our childhood, these sentimental recollections instead existing in vignette, nostalgic and frequently inaccurate. That's very much the case for best buds Ryu and Ken, the memories of whose tender years battering each other to a pulp in the street have been almost totally forgotten. They were good times, even before Street Fighter II. Honest!

It's been 30 years since those embryonic days of public pugilism. Time, subtle thief of precious youth.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
